QUINTA DA TORRE is a TER (Turismo no espaço Rural) member, that is, an approved Country Tourist Resort.
It is a propriety of 30 Acres, situated 2.5 Km from the town of Óbidos. This is a town founded about 308 B.C. It’s remaining ancestral houses are well looked after. It’s streets are of cobble stone and its walls are surprisingly intact, after centuries of defence.
QUINTA DA TORRE has pine growth (pinus pinea, L.) and domestic animals as main agricultural activities. The purpose is, among others, to provide guests with a symbiosis between the rural environment and the quiet, comfortable and sober accommodations. The houses have some ancient furniture and other decoration features, some of them coming from past family generations.
